Infoblox has just released a new IP address management online product demo. The IPAM software demo takes less than ten minutes to guide you through the highlights of the new release, including smart folders, network map, network discovery, IP map and delegated administrator. 

 

Infoblox has also announced a new DNS security webinar scheduled for early June to include Dan Kaminsky, Cricket Liu and Scott Rose.  The webinar will explore what DNSSEC means for DNS security and enterprise networks.

 

We’ve talked about the critical importance of automation to the evolution of dynamic infrastructure.  IPAM appliances as well as dedicated DNS appliances are a great first step.  DNS security promises to be equally important to the realization of production virtualization beyond VLANs, including cloud computing.
